Welcome to the Gryphon Racing website! We're a student run club at the University of Guelph, and we build an open-wheeled race car each year. The car is designed, fabricated and raced solely by students. We attend an annual competition in Pontiac, Michigan where we race our car against other universities around the globe.

Shop training is beginning! This is mandatory for using the shop equipment!
The first round will take place November 17, which is this coming Friday, at 9:00 am. More training sessions will be scheduled soon for those of you with scheduling conflicts.

October 14, 2009 - Go Eng Girl
Go Eng Girl is a great program presented and sponsored by the best engineering associations. We will be particpating on behalf of the University of Guelph this Saturday in the Science Complex. This is an amazing experience for girls in grades 7-10: help support by passing this message on!

Now that we've had our first two meetings of the year, we will begin having regular weekly meetings to begin progress on the 2009-2011 car.
The meetings times are: 7:00 - 9:00pm Tuesdays & Thursdays, at the shop

We are back from autocrossing all summer and are now opening up recruitment to begin construction on our 2011 car.
Our first meeting for new recruits will be this Tuesday, September 22nd at the shop. Can't find us?
