I have over 13 years of consulting, government and industrial experience. I worked as a consultant with the First Nations & Inuit Health Branch of Health Canada on assessing the safety of drinking water systems in First Nations communities in Alberta.

I also worked as an environmental engineer with ABL Environmental Consultants in Dartmouth, N.S. I helped ABL develop several environmental technologies such as an all-enclosed "rapid-fill sequencing batch reactor" for municipal and environmental wastewater treatment and an activated carbon system for odour control. I have designed many wastewater and water treatment facilities and conducted operator training.

Prior to joining ABL, I worked as an environmental engineer with the Public Works and Government Services Canada engaging in activities such as environmental audits, site assessment, soil and groundwater remediation.

I have also conducted training seminars in water and wastewater treatment for different audiences in places such as Cuba and Newfoundland.
